Active Community Service Projects
During its 62 years, the Taneytown Lions Club has donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to community charitable activities. All moneys collected from the community are used to help those in need. Money used to support the club, must come from the members.
Some of the charitable organizations that we actively supporting are listed below;
The Taneytown Lions Club has medical equipment, i.e., wheel chairs, beds and other items to loan out and provides financial support needy individuals to have eye exams and purchase eye glasses
The youth of the community are our future and the club sponsors and/or supports project to help the youth
Some of the fund raisers the club has to generate the money needed to support these community charitable activities
